Councillors

Elizabeth is one of three Labour District Councillors for Cainscross, where she has lived for over forty years. Her main focus is the Housing Committee: working hard to help provide decent housing for all. She is a keen user of public transport. With her experience of teaching English to refugees and asylum seekers she is the Council’s Migrant Champion.

Steve is Chair of Gloucestershire County Council. He places strong emphasis on protecting and improving the public services that local residents rely on, including schools, libraries and transport links. In his work at District level he is also closely involved with housing and planning matters in the Nailsworth area.

Katy is one of two Labour councillors for Rodborough and leader of the Labour Group of District Councillors. She cares passionately about the provision of social housing, and the continuing development of Stroud District as a centre for culture and enterprise where all people can thrive. When not busy with council duties Katy enjoys gardening, sewing, watching and talking about films and a good boogie!
